Wrangham, Galloway partake in Softball Factory-hosted event

Two North Dakota girls were among sixty-four athletes selected to compete at The Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Tournament in Conroe, Texas. The tournament took place at The Scrap Yard Complex, home of The Scrap Yard Dawg NPF Team. Kirsten Galloway (Garrison) and Brielle Wrangham (Bismarck) got to attend an opening ceremony, watched a Home Run Derby by the Pros, received a videotaped Prep Evaluation, participated in extensive defensive skill/pitching/catching/hitting instruction, and did a lot of athletic testing. Both Kirsten & Brielle got to play five games, with Kirsten’s team taking home the Championship.

There was a guest appearance by Jennie Finch. She gave a demo, spoke to the athletes, did a Q&A and of course took pictures and signed autographs for all! Kirsten was chosen to compete at a Sioux Falls, SD tryout and Brielle was chosen at the tryout in Oklahoma City, OK at The All-American Games.
